Message from the CEO & Founder

Hi, my name is Peter Stevenson, President/CEO/Founder of Better U Foundation Academy, Inc. First, let me thank you for visiting our website. Approximately 35 years ago I was working in a maximum-security prison with youthful offenders. I remember we had a 12-year-old incarcerated for murder and I asked myself back then, what is wrong with this picture. So, over the years I continued to wonder what is wrong with the youth today. I thought, what can I do to help fix this problem. Well, I hate to say it but the crime among the youth today has risen to an all-time high. Everyday more facilities are being built to try to keep up with the rising crime rate. This is why I created the Better U Foundation Academy, Inc. We are a non-profit academy with the hopes and dreams of changing the lives of the youth across America. We believe in the youth and family. But the both of them need help. My Board of Directors and I have developed programs and therapeutic counseling opportunities that will give them the tools for success. Our children are our future. They need all the love and guidance they can get. The Better U Foundation Academy, Inc will provide our children with the tools for success. The treatment and love they will receive at the Academy will help them see that they too can make it and be all they can be. Now family is not always flesh and blood. Here at the Academy every child will know he or she is loved, and they can make it. Remember the old saying “It takes an entire village to raise a child”.  Please find it in your heart to make a way to help us be a blessing to these children. Again, thank you and be blessed.
